尼莎颱風來襲，新北市蘆洲區信義路188巷不平靜，深夜傳出火警，疑似是因為施放鞭炮導致，火勢已經撲滅，沒有人員傷亡。
目擊者表示，當時聽到三聲鞭炮聲後，隨即有人大喊失火，火勢大約持續10分鐘。

新北市消防第三大隊大隊長黃弟勝表示，凌晨0點22分接獲報案，抵達現場後，僅有1名年約80歲的老先生在家裡，聽到鄰居大喊失火，已經趕緊逃離住家，沒有受傷。
現場有鞭炮盒，且目擊者也聽到鞭炮聲，黃弟勝表示，是否為施放沖天炮引燃火警還有待釐清。

肯德基將其在倫敦的最新分店轉型成夜店形式，並將在本週末隆重開幕。
這家分店位於以經典音樂和世界級夜生活著名的北倫敦，店面使用黑色的窗戶和高科技照明，外觀十分酷炫，尤其在夜裡更加突顯它彩色絢麗的燈光。知名DJ布萊德利?強森（Bradley Johnson）和當地樂團BURST將在櫃台後為幸運的顧客帶來精彩的音樂。
這個活動由餐廳的特許經營者卡瓦爾?哈賽因（Khawar Hussain）在當地嘻哈樂團BURST的幫助下創立，目的是推廣當地知名的夜生活文化。哈賽因表示：「這就是真正的北倫敦風格，我們希望給本地的民眾帶來一些難忘的夜晚，他們可以一邊吃炸雞一邊享受超棒的音樂。」
在推廣業生活文化的同時，肯德基也致力於幫助當地弱勢團體，這家分店將釋出20個工作機會，同時也會參與肯德基的慈善活動，包含食物捐贈計畫：將未售出的雞肉冷凍後捐贈給當地的慈善團體。
